Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups fresh or frozen blueberries (BC blueberries are best!)
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt (or coconut yogurt)
  • 1 cup milk of choice (dairy, almond, or oat)
  • 1 Tbsp maple syrup or honey, to taste
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1/8 tsp ground nutmeg, plus a tiny extra pinch for garnish
  • 1/2 ripe banana (optional, for extra creaminess)
  • 2 tbsp granola (optional for topping)

Instructions

  1. In a blender, add blueberries, yogurt, milk, sweetener, vanilla, nutmeg, and banana (if using).
  2. To blend until silky, start blender on low, then ramp speed to high and blend for 45–60 seconds until completely smooth.
  3. Add maple syrup and vanilla and pulse briefly.
  4. Pour into two chilled glasses. Garnish with a light dusting of nutmeg, a few fresh berries and sliced banana on top.
