Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups fresh or frozen blueberries (BC blueberries are best!)
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt (or coconut yogurt)
- 1 cup milk of choice (dairy, almond, or oat)
- 1 Tbsp maple syrup or honey, to taste
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 1/8 tsp ground nutmeg, plus a tiny extra pinch for garnish
- 1/2 ripe banana (optional, for extra creaminess)
- 2 tbsp granola (optional for topping)
Instructions
- In a blender, add blueberries, yogurt, milk, sweetener, vanilla, nutmeg, and banana (if using).
- To blend until silky, start blender on low, then ramp speed to high and blend for 45–60 seconds until completely smooth.
- Add maple syrup and vanilla and pulse briefly.
- Pour into two chilled glasses. Garnish with a light dusting of nutmeg, a few fresh berries and sliced banana on top.
