Join Pacific Institute of Culinary Arts for the ultimate West Coast Culinary Experience in one of Canada’s most visited neighbourhoods!

This 3.5 hour experience runs twice daily and includes a taste of the best of what BC has to offer. Your day starts with a tour of Granville Island and its market, before returning to the Institute where a BC wine tasting and cooking demo follow. Finally, complete your experience with a meal at Blue Hat Bistro.

Granville Island Walking Tour
Your guides are globally trained chefs, certified sommeliers, food writers and food lovers from Pacific Institute of Culinary Arts. Work up an appetite while wandering through the market's many local and internationally influenced artisans and food purveyors. Bring all your culinary questions as your guide provides cooking tips, point out historical details and reveal hidden cultural landmarks.

British Columbia Wine Tasting – Enjoy 4 Exceptional BC Wines! 
Experience the variety and splendor of British Columbia’s wine country. Your sommelier led structured tasting features some of the best and most exciting wines being made in the province right now. Discover and explore the different areas making up the wine regions of British Columbia. Learn about the origins, the best grape varieties and what the leading wineries are up to during this interactive tasting session.

Westcoast Cooking Demo and Tasting 
Savour the rich culinary traditions of British Columbia with our Westcoast Culinary Demo and Tasting. Discover various species of salmon, local fin fish or shellfish native to this part of the Pacific Ocean. Your chef will show you how to select the freshest fish and seafood at the market. Topics explored in the demo and tasting could include how to clean, filet and debone a whole salmon or it may be an exploration of traditional west coast aboriginal recipes, all while learning about current, globally influenced flavours and techniques.
