Your instructor, Chester Carey, is a force to be reckoned with in the Vancouver craft beer industry. The first Canadian Certified Cicerone®, Chester graduated from Pacific Institute of Culinary Arts in the Culinary Arts diploma program in 2005. Besides being one of the lower mainlands leading guides on beer and food pairings, Chester also holds certification as a Sommelier from the International Sommelier Guild (ISG) and Certified Spirits Specialist from the Society of Wine Educators. He is a homebrewer and partner in the award winning Re-Up BBQ. His passion for craft beer is infectious, as you will soon find out.
For tax purposes, students are eligible to receive a T2202A upon completion of Serious Beer
