So you've completed our Basics in 8 series and now you want to learn more? You've come to the right place. 

In this four consecutive day intensive series, we'll be dialing in and focusing on specific recipes that will leave you rivalling the fanciest boutiques on Robson Street! Utilizing the basic skills you picked up in our introductory series, we will now focus on more intermediate and advanced techniques, all the way to finishing, plating and decorating.

The best part about this class is that one day will roll into the other! By having four consecutive days, each one will interconnect and allow you to start something that can rest or be ready for the next day, which is something we couldn't do in a weekly series.

Get your aprons on and your Instagram and Pinterest feeds ready - the delicious results from these classes will have your expectations becoming a reality!

DAY 1: SLOWLY BUT CHOUX-RELY

Now that you've learned how to make a perfect pâte à choux, we'll focus on upping your game to create eclairs and cream puffs that will be (almost!) too good to eat. Learn a variety of fillings, glazing, and finishing techniques that will make these morsels a feast for the eyes and your tastebuds.

DAY 2: A PIECE OF CAKE!

Believe it or not, it takes effort to make something look so effortless. With cakebaking basics under your belt, today's class will focus on decorating a celebration cake! 

DAY 3: FRIDAY FRY DAY 

Cake versus yeasted doughnuts, crullers, cannoli, churros... deep frying can be an intimidating technique to learn, but when handled correctly, can deliver some of the most popular and delicious treats to eat. Whether it's at your next summertime barbecue or a fancy Spanish tapas night, these desserts are guaranteed winners. 

DAY 4: THEY SEE ME ROLLIN' - I'M BAKIN'

Go deeper into breadmaking in your final session! After a head start on Friday, Saturday will be devoted to creating long fermentation artisanal breads. With this amount of time to rest, the flavour and texture developed in your breads will be incomparable, and you'll never buy a loaf from the store ever again!
