Pacific Institute of Culinary Arts has called upon the diverse wine training & knowledge of its instructors to create something unique. With the WSET syllabus at the core of all the courses, we have incorporated food and wine pairing in each class to better utilize our instructional hours to suit the needs of the marketplace. Your instructor, our resident Sommelier Tim Ellison, has the distinction of being the only Certified Chef de Cuisine in Canada that also holds the WSET Level 4 Diploma of Wine and Spirits.
This means exposure to a greater variety of wines, a heavy focus on food & wine matching to truly further the development of your palate. We truly believe this makes our courses the most comprehensive and well rounded offered today. Additionally, all of our certificates are offered multiple times throughout the year in various formats, which means you can start your Wine and Spirits education when it fits your schedule.
