A Plugged-in Granville Island Market Tour

The Professional Culinary Centre @ Pacific Institute of Culinary Arts launches a plugged-in Chef Instructor led walking tour of Vancouver’s historic and diverse Granville Island.   Join us as we savour the wares of the market’s many globally influenced and locally impassioned artisans, farmers and food purveyors.

Leaving at 10AM, we’ll plug-in our head-sets and set out to experience Granville Island’s breathtaking and seasonal ambience; exploring and tasting what’s been grown, fished and cooked fresh in this bustling public marketplace.  Stops will be made to point out what makes the island both a sensory and historic delight.

Experience a taste tantalizing walking tour of Granville Island's dynamic food scene followed by an optional west coast buffet and BC wine flight in our extensively renovated Bistro 101.  Tour includes canvas shopping tote, take away coffee or tea plus freshly baked treat courtesy of our Bakery 101. This 1 1/2 hour walking tour leaves Bakery 101 at 10:00AM Fridays only.

Plug-in a headset and work up an appetite wandering through the market's many locally and internationally influenced artisans and food purveyors.  Bring all your culinary questions, sustainable queries as our internationally trained chef instructors provide culinary tips, point out historical details and reveal hidden cultural landmarks.
