The 2nd Annual Black Box Competition was held at Pacific Institute of Culinary Arts on Friday, April 25th, 2008. Participants worked individually to create a dish using our mystery black box ingredients which included:  arctic char, egg, carrot, asparagus, shallots, mushrooms, red potatoes, yellow pepper and garlic.

Congratulations to Amanda Veldman of Ecole Secondaire Hugh McRoberts Secondary (in Richmond) who took first place in our 2nd Annual Grade 12 Black Box Competition. Amanda was awarded the $1000 tuition scholarship for Pacific Institute of Culinary Arts' full-time professional programs.
