Pacific Institute of Culinary Arts launches a plugged-in Chef Instructor led walking tour of Vancouver’s historic and diverse Granville Island. Join us as we savour the wares of the market’s many globally influenced and locally impassioned artisans, farmers and food purveyors. Leaving at 10AM, we’ll plug-in our head-sets and set out to experience Granville Island’s breathtaking and seasonal ambience; exploring and tasting what’s been grown, fished and cooked fresh in this bustling public marketplace. Stops will be made to point out what makes the island both a sensory and historic delight. Tour includes a PICA canvas tote, a to-go coffee or tea and, a freshly baked pastry courtesy of Bakery 101. Sweet or savoury we have the walking tour for you.
Add to your tour a visit to Pacific Institute of Culinary Arts’ marina side, student-run gourmet restaurant – Bistro 101, for our infamous West Coast Buffet style lunch with coffee & tea and special window seating for an additional $20 per person fee; add an optional BC wine flight for $10.00 per person.
Check in: At Bakery 101 located at 1505 West 2nd Avenue. Please check-in approximately 15 minutes before scheduled departure time.
Ends: Tour returns to Pacific Institute of Culinary Arts approximately 1.5 hours after tour start time.

Tips:
Summer/Fall: In warm weather, dress light; wear sun block and comfortable shoes.
Winter/Spring: Layer cool weather proof clothing to ensure comfort. Because Granville Island is partially covered by the Granville Street Bridge umbrellas are up to you.
