The James Beard Foundation - Scholarship Program

posted on April 5, 2011

The James Beard Foundation mission is ‘To celebrate, nurture, and preserve America’s diverse culinary heritage and future.’ They offer a diverse selection of programs to help people learn about and engage with food through workshops, classes, conferences, readings and educational experiences.

Each year The Friends of James Beard Scholarships program has a variety of awards to be won by culinary students who need financial support to pursue careers in the food and beverage industry.

For the 2011-2012 academic year, applicants must plan to enroll or are already enrolled in a program at an accredited culinary school to be eligible for these scholarships.

To learn more about your eligibility and how to apply for The Friends of James Beard Scholarships, please visit The James Beard Foundation Scholarship Program, click on the first link referring to 'The Friends of' and speak with one of our Admissions representatives.
