Vancouver Named 'Most Liveable City'

Vancouver has taken the honour of "most liveable city" according to rankings issued by international business intelligence firm, the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU). The organization reviewed 127 cities worldwide on factors such as stability, healthcare, culture and environment, education and infrastructure.

The EIU's Liveability Ranking is part of their Worldwide Cost of Living Survey. The survey gives a rating of 0 - 100% on 40 different criteria and judges a city with a lower score to be the more attractive destination. Vancouver's overall score was 1%. Following Vancouver in the rankings were Melbourne (2%), and Perth, Adelaide, Sydney, Zurich, Toronto and Calgary, all with 3%.
