What's New at Pacific Institute of Culinary Arts > Sharwin Wins!
posted on December 16, 2010
We’ve been on the edge of our seats at PICA headquarters since learning that alumni, Sharwin Tee, was a finalist in a competition to name the Philippine Lifestyle Network’s first ever TV Chef and earlier this month the big news came: Culinary Arts Alumni, Sharwin Tee will be the first Chef to host a cooking show for the network!
Sharwin, who graduated from the Culinary Arts diploma program March 2004, was working as a personal Chef when he signed up the Canadian-sounding competition “Clash of the Toque –en Ones”. Growing up watching “Wok with Yan”, Sharwin has known that he wanted to host his own cooking show since the age of 6.
We look forward to hearing about Sharwin’s TV Celebrity Chef adventures as he begins filming in the New Year.
Congratulations to Sharwin!
