Located in the picturesque town of Dundas, Ontario (about an hours drive from downtown Toronto) is alumni Georgina Mitropoulos’ Quatrefoil Restaurant
. Quatrefoil was recently named one of EnRoute Magazine’s “Best New Restaurants in Canada”. For the competition, which considered restaurants opened from June 2009 to July 2010, a short list was determined by a food panel comprised of judges from across the country. To determine the winners, an EnRoute writer travelled and dined anonymously at each establishment. According to EnRoute, they “look for chefs who are advancing the country’s culinary identity and restaurants where the overall dining experience will have a significant impact on our restaurant culture.”.
