Pre-Teen and Teen ClassesMothers Day Tea (for kids aged 6-10 years)This is a special day for moms and kids alike. First, kids will be busy in the kitchen making lemon iced scones, finger sandwiches, and decorating shortbread cookies for dessert. After the class, Moms will join them in our fine dining restaurant as guests of honor at this Mother's Day Tea, in which they will sample the freshly baked fare and enjoy a little tea-time with their child(ren). Date: Saturday, May 10th, 2008 Includes: All supplies & ingredients and tea service. Additional guests (i.e. fathers, grandparents, siblings, etc.) can join this special event for a nominal charge of $25 plus GST per person. Pre-Teen 2-Day Summer Camp (Ages 9-12) - SOLD OUT!Our Chef Instructors welcome back our pre-teens for an interactive 2-day summer camp featuring international cuisine they can replicate at home. Executive Chef Julian Bond and Professional Chef Instructor, Bernard Mouze will share instructional duties over the 2-day camp. Day One with Chef Julian (British Menu):
Goujons of Crispy Cod and Dip [deep fried strips of cod]
Toad in the Hole [traditional british dish comprising of sausages in Yorkshire pudding]
Sticky Toffee Pudding
Day Two with Chef Bernard (French Menu):
Quiche Lorraine (with bacon, cheese, eggs and cream)
Flétan en Papillote (Halibut baked in parchment paper)
Crepes Farcies aux Fruits Frais avec Creme Chantilly (Crepes with Seasonal Fruit with whipping cream)
